Gimme Shelter
Fall colors awaken our senses to the wonder of a new season. This scene even woke up my pallet! Oil on Raymar linen 11"x14" panel.

Yosemite Spring
Last year, in the off season, Michelle and I rented bikes and rode around the valley floor cradled in a feeling of complete rapture. I worked up several studies on that trip and finished them in my studio. This one is 12"x16" oil on canvas panel.

Soup
Oil on linen panel 12"x12". The ingredients for this painting went straight into the pot and made a wonderful soup. Had to paint fast, but not a problem. I was hungry.

Morning Light at Moro Beach
I love the winter light in Southern California, but I did not expect the 80 degree temperature in February. I considered naming this painting "Looking for El Nino"! The high tide kept me pinned against the breakwater and offered an interesting perspective for this 9"x12" plein air oil painting on linen canvas board.
